She has lent her expertise as staff reporter for The Seattle Times and The Columbian newspapers, and contributed to numerous others nationally including The Oregonian, Office.com, Real Estate Media and international business magazine Revenue. For four years, Meacham held the editor and then managing editor position for the Vancouver Business Journal before becoming editor for The Writers’ Group, an outsourced news content provider for magazines and newspapers across America. She concurrently was anchor, legislative reporter and co-producer for a small business talk show on FOX’s Portland, Ore., affiliate, and rebroadcast on AT&T Cable for 36 episodes starting March 17, 2001. It was awarded the top Oregon media award for small business news coverage in 2001 by the U.S. Small Business Administration. She’s also co-author of the book “IRA Wealth: Revolutionary IRA Strategies for Real Estate Investment” (Square One Publishers, New York), which hit bookstores nationwide in September 2003. Meacham received her bachelor’s of science degree in broadcast journalism from Liberty University in 1995 and has since devoted her career to a cognizant approach to fairness in the news. In May 2002, the U.S. Small Business Administration awarded her with the “S.B.A. Journalist of The Year” for the Northwest region.
